Sailor Yarashiel, Seraphim Senshi of Flexibility

Fuku
The most striking element of Yarashiel’s fuku is her helmet. Domed, it has a faceplate shaped like an upside-down teardrop and small white wings affixed to the sides. The helmet itself is white metal with a large, stylized eye on the front. The outline and eyelash shapes are gold in color. The pupil is sky blue with a navy blue center. Beneath the eye are narrow eye slits through which mismatched navy blue and gold eyes are visible. A sky blue wind motif travels down the front, flanked by gold swirls. The very top of the helmet has a circle of navy and sky blue surrounded by a partial ring of gold. Lines of angelic writing trace around the back of the helmet. Beneath that sits stripes of sky blue ending in swirls. The underside of the helmet is fitted with white feathers around the lower rim, obscuring Jack’s hair.
The base of Yarashiel’s fuku is a sleeveless white and navy blue bodysuit with an open front, attached choker, and large circular cutouts on the hips. The top of the bodysuit features a sailor collar shape in navy blue, and a sky blue bow reminiscent of a butterfly in shape and secured by a small golden rectangle. The midsection of the bodysuit is white. The bottom is navy blue with a V shape reminiscent of the outline of the traditional sailor skirt. The bodysuit extends to just above the knee.
Over this, Yarashiel wears thigh-high white stockings with angelic script trim and a corset. The corset is transparent yellow with sky blue lines that end in swirls, creating a wind motif. The corset laces in the front with gold cord. Her knee-high armored boots are navy blue with small white wings at either side of the knee and feathers continuing partway down the shins. The armor at the knee, ankle, and toes is trimmed in gold at the sides with eye motifs in the center. The eyes at the knee and ankle are horizontal and the eyes on the toe guards are aligned vertically.
Finally, she has long white gloves with a navy blue stripe running down the outside.

Transformation
Signet Ring
To transform, Yarashiel says the phrase, “Yarashiel Arise!” A golden halo rises up from the ground below her, her costume appearing as it travels upwards. Once it’s cleared her body, the halo contracts onto her helmet, forming the outline of the eye.
Her transformation item is a golden signet ring with an eye on it, matching the motif of her fuku. The top half of the eye is navy blue and the lower half sky blue, with a small golden orb for a pupil.

Powers
Lock in Place: Yarashiel can lock someone in place by touching them. This power can only be activated once per day. Any part of her body (or her fuku) can be used for the trigger -- it’s not dependent on her touching someone with her hands or anything like that. Feet, elbows, helmet, whatever. The effects last about five minutes and can be reversed by healing or interrupt powers. The effects will also vanish if Yarashiel detransforms before the time is up.
Basically, Lock in Place turns whoever she touches completely inflexible. It’s not just that you lose the ability to move; you also become as hard as steel -- a living statue, even. This power is therefore flexible in how it can be used: while you will most often see it used offensively to render an enemy immobile, it can also be used on ally to protect them from serious amounts of damage if the situation requires it.
It has several obvious drawbacks. She needs to be in physical contact in order to use it, and she only gets to use it once per battle. While this is a serious advantage in small, one-on-one battles, it’s not so advantageous when there are multiple opponents, or opponents who specialize in long-distance attacks.
Super-flexibility: Yarashiel’s second power is actually an innate ability. While transformed, she is super-flexible, able to bend and contort in ways she cannot normally as a civilian. This increased flexibility gives her a slight bonus against any sort of blunt-force damage, like punches and kicks or giant mallets, but doesn’t provide any bonuses against slashing damage, like edged weapons, or magical energy damage.
Yarashiel is therefore a close-combat fighter, who focuses on using her blunt-force damage resistance and touch ability in battle.
