Appearance
Moonbeam is one-quarter elf and three-quarters human. She has short, triangular ears with round tips and olive green eyes.
Her pale green hair is excessively full and thick, necessitating the usage of a hair appliance to keep it in place. The appliance is a heavy, silver semicircle that sits behind her ears. Without the hairband, her hair sticks out like a dandelion.
Moonbeam enjoys wearing modern, old-fashioned, and fantasy-type clothing. She prefers to dress cute and demure, with neck and chest covered, but isn't averse to showing off her legs. She always keeps her neck covered. As lunar mage champion, her outfits often have moon and star motifs. As a ranger, she is also partial to nature-themed outfits. Her favorite colors are blue and green. She prefers outfits which have an overall light color scheme. She can also be drawn in kimono.
Moonbeam has a gallery of predesigned outfits available for use.

Her ears have a triangular shape, but the tips of her ears are ROUNDED, not POINTY!
Please do not draw her in the dress with the white blouse and ribbon bow. That outfit has been drawn to death at this point.

Personality
Bubbly almost to a fault, Moonbeam is known for her incredible compassion, optimism, and determination. She has never met a hurdle she won't do her best to overcome. She takes her role as Lunar Mage Champion very, very seriously and has made it her mission in life to not only protect the weak, but also inspire the people around her and rally them with hope in even the darkest of times. She is very much like the moon after which she is named: a light that can brighten even the darkest of skies.
While some might think Moonbeam's cheery outlook on life comes from having it easy, she actually draws her strength from her love for the world, which propels her to struggle and work as hard as possible at anything and everything. She isn't the type of person who is naturally gifted at anything, but she is the type to put in however many hours are required to become good at something, because she loves it so much she feels compelled to try. She never gives up. No matter how much she falters or how many times she fails at something, she always picks herself up and tries again. She has a positively indomitable spirit.
This applies not only to skills she works to acquire, but also to people. Moonbeam doesn't give up on others, no matter how sad, angry, or isolated they are. She earnestly wishes for everyone to know that they are loved no matter who or what they are. It is her mission to convey this to others, especially to those who seem to have been forgotten, outcast, or reviled. (It therefore comes as no surprise that she counts Tanaka among her friends, has Katana as her partner, and is married to Ken.)
Moonbeam is also highly cognizant of how her outlook can effect those around her, so she works hard to always put on a strong and happy face. It isn't that she doesn't ever feel sad, lonely, upset, or even angry, more that she doesn't let these emotions get in the way of her sincerity and love. Even when she's sad, she will try and cheer up another person. Even when she's upset or scared, she will smile and be brave for those around her. Even when she is angry, she will show compassion for someone who has wronged her.
Perhaps her greatest fault is that she's always on the go, always striving for something new, and she finds it difficult to stop, even when stopping might be the best course of action. She has so much energy that she simply must continue forward. She can get incredibly stir-crazy if there's nothing for her do and fidgets madly when forced to sit still or stay in one place. Luckily, since she's an adult and doesn't have to answer to any particular authority, she can keep herself moving and avoid getting mired in any one place. Her incessant energy level can annoy some people, but her consideration and care for the fact she annoys them tends to balance it out.
Moonbeam essentially has three full-time jobs: she is the Lunar Mage Champion, she is a forest ranger, and a full-time mother. With her bottomless energy reserves, she somehow managed to fulfill the duties of all three without anything falling through the cracks.
Her spirit, her will, and her kindness make her perhaps the most beloved person in the entirety of the Many Worlds.
